Diary 2014-04
Where: British Museum, London
When: Saturday 7th June 2014
As a kid I loved London's Science Museum and hated the dull V&A and British Museums. Last year the former seemed tired, the V&A full of life; today it's the latter. Foster's glass roof magnificently spans the courtyard, calmly settling over the crowds with graceful curves. Elgin's marbles elegantly displayed and skilfully explained. The Rosette Stone a marvel of precision. Too many people, too much to see, another time will have to do.
