Inspired by the ancient Spanish seafarers and the C15th poems of Ausiàs March whose morbid rhymes dominated a slow moving outdoor "spectacular" that was anything but. Despite a dramatic score the ship building and voyaging plodded along, occasionally enlivened by fireworks. Where was the drama of a Moby Dick or Sinbad?
