Story is sacrificed to set-pieces for stars and stage-filling props. Gary Wilmot delivers a solid pantomime dame, and ventriloquist Paul Zerdin with Sam competently occupies the comedian slot. Julian Clary knows his panto but there’s little new in camp innuendos and endless costume changes just drag. Dawn French is lost as the evil Queen. Snow White, her Prince and the glamorous chorus work hard but poor material and structure lets this show down.
