Vitesse (3.5/5)

"Vitesse", journey with speed, three lively contemporary ballets.  Forgotten Land: somber requiem with choreography inspired by Munch's portrayal of love - 'The Dance of Life'; a well delivered technical work lacking an emotional basis.  A TAB staple, Forsythe's mix of exaggeration and moderation in Somewhat Elevated is expertly accomplished.  Read TGV for DGV, this celebration of travel has its moments and a few detours.  A programme true to its theme but not quite a grande vitesse.
