Jorn Utzon’s last building reflects his architectural style with its intimacy and tent-like roof, the vaulted ceilings are particularly striking. A feature of Aalborg’s transformation from industrial heartland to education and cultural hub the Utzon Centre will eventually find its place harbour-side. More place of study than museum the Utzon display material is somewhat limited, more would be nice. The Utzon Restaurant and Aalborg University architecture graduate exhibition are both excellent.
