A play, within a play, within an audition. The dialogue moved along with appropriate discontinuity between story lines and the off-stage director's voice added a suitable discordance. Despite the risk of disaster the cast seemed a little too comfortable with the underlying premise. More a jolly dig at fringe than a biting satirical commentary.
