OUR land people stories (5.0/5)

Three dance pieces powerfully stating Indigenous connections to  land and family.  Macq - an intense and confronting telling of white settlement and its impact on Aboriginal communities interpreted through dynamic contemporary dance.  Miyagan - an exploration of kinship using contemporary Aboriginal dance.  Nyapanyapa - a moving tribute in a more traditional style to a this accomplished artist.  Performing to an exciting blend of electronic and Indigenous music Bangarra’s choreography challenged, absorbed, inspired and rewarded an engaged audience.
