“Tell my story”; the dying Hamlet commanded of Horatio. Anticipating some touristy glitz it was pleasing to find a resplendent European castle and a conspiratorial Horatio who treated us to an enticing tale of foul deeds with no hint of mockery. Hamlet’s castle may attract all the attention though the historic town is not without charm, a richly ornamented railway station and lively performing arts centre.
