Pleasantly restrained concert of organ and song spanning C16 to C18. This beautiful cathedral's acoustics are surprisingly soft, the absence of deep vibration allowed the concert to wrap-around the audience whilst remaining focused on the ensemble. The eight pieces revealed the development of organ and choral music (more extensive program notes would have added value). The program concluded with a nicely balanced rendering of Bach's "Jesus bleibet meine freude", five voices and main organ blending perfectly.
