Three new Australian works celebrate TAB’s 50^th.  “Narrative” is either clever or too clever.  Obarzanek plays with recollections of Swan Lake, an interesting idea leading to a stimulating fusion of classical and contemporary dance.  ”Warumuk” is outstanding, taking full advantage of the TAB/Bangarra mix to create a dance reflecting the beauty of the outback night sky.  Never thought I say this - the AOBO were magnificent delivering a complex blend of classical and contemporary music.
